TORONTO, June 01, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- BWR Exploration Inc. (TSX-V:BWR) (“BWR” or the “Company”) is pleased to report that all matters proposed by management, including the election of management’s nominees for the board of directors, were approved at BWR’s annual and special meeting held May 30, 2018.
With 29.5% of the total shares being voted, the shareholders voted 100% in favor of management recommendations, with the exception of the renewal of the stock option plan, where only 98.7% voted in favor of renewing the option plan.
Neil Novak, George Duguay, Norman Brewster, Earl Coleman and Marcel Robillard were re-elected to the Board of Directors, each receiving 100% of votes cast.
Mr. Allan Ringler advised previously he was not going to stand for re-election to the Board of Directors. BWR thanks Mr. Ringler for his early help in the formation of the Company in 2011 when it was a private company and his support and guidance over the years including during 2013 in transforming the Company to a public company listed on the TSX-Venture Exchange. Management and the rest of the Board wish Al well in his retirement.
