HYON receives world's first approval-in-principle from DNV GL of module-based fuel cell solutions for use in maritime environment


HYON AS, which is a joint venture company owned by Hexagon Composites ASA, Nel ASA and PowerCell Sweden AB, has received the world's first approval-in-principle from DNV GL of module-based fuel cell solutions for use in maritime environment.

This is an important milestone for the use of hydrogen fuel cell solutions in the maritime environment. Hexagon views this as an increased opportunity for its unique lightweight high-pressure storage cylinders.
