The NEMA 3R rated device accepts a primary voltage of 95V AC and provides a secondary voltage of 120V AC.
The MT-BBT-95V-120V-31.2A is designed for efficient voltage rectification, across incremental ranges. Configured for voltage boost, the step-up transformer is compatible with 95V AC at 39.6 amps on the input side and provides 120V at 31.2 amps on the output side (25V voltage difference). The unit has a 3.76 KVA rating and a frequency of 50/60 Hz. During use, the buck-boost transformer features 130°C insulation with an 80°C temperature rise. This two-winding unit is constructed with non-aging, cold-rolled silicon steel laminations for the device’s cores.
For ease of installation, operators are provided access to copper tabs at the front of the device, which can be used for primary and secondary connections. Knockouts are available at the front and rear of the transformer. The MT-BBT-95V-120V-31.2A leverages natural air or dry type cooling for efficient operation. The step-up transformer utilizes robust magnetic copper wire for superior performance and reliability. For protection from rugged elements, the device is encapsulated in silica sand and resin, housed in a NEMA 3R steel enclosure. Mounting is facilitated via wall mounting brackets.
