RAPS' Wesley Carr Selected for Diversity Executive Leadership Program

Rockville, MD, USA, June 21, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Wesley Carr, senior program manager of chapter and volunteer relations for the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS) has been selected for the Diversity Executive Leadership Program (DELP) from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). Carr is one of 12 scholars chosen for the 2018–2020 DELP class.

DELP is a two-year program that supports individuals from under-represented identity groups to advance into the ranks of leadership in the association management profession. DELP scholars participate in an accelerated leadership program of education, mentoring and volunteer service in the association community.

“Congratulations to the new class! Over the past 18 years, the DELP program has provided association professionals an opportunity to enrich their knowledge and leadership skills. It has also shaped many talented association executives, and this class will extend that legacy,” said ASAE President and CEO John H. Graham IV, FASAE, CAE.

DELP is exclusively sponsored by the Detroit Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau. A list of the full 2018–2020 DELP class is available on the ASAE website.

“We are extremely proud of Wes to have been chosen for the highly competitive Diversity Executive Leadership Program,” said RAPS Executive Director Paul Brooks. “He is remarkably dedicated to RAPS chapters and volunteers, helping them maximize their experiences and strive for excellence in many ways.
