In January-May 2018, Lietuvos Energija generated revenue of EUR 534.2 million, which is 14.2% more compared to a respective period of 2017 (EUR 467.6 million). The Group's revenue has grown due to higher demand for electricity and gas, with lower average air temperature compared to the same period last year and the price change in the gas and electricity markets.
The adjusted EBITDA indicator of the Group was equal to EUR 113.5 million, i.e. 8.9% more compared to a respective period of 2017 (EUR 104.2 million). The growth of the indicator was driven by a better result from the distribution of electricity and gas due to more efficient operation and increased investment in renewal and modernization of distribution networks.
