Cleveland, Ohio, July 02, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Shaker, the market-leading provider of pre-employment assessments, has announced the appointment of Robert Stephens as the firm’s Chief Technology Officer.
Bringing more than 15 years of experience in talent assessment, Stephens has expertise in building and leading the growth of technology operations and is considered key to accelerating Shaker’s expansion of products and into new markets. He will be responsible for all of Shaker’s technology operations, including product development, data center operation, and corporate infrastructure. He will also oversee the team behind the development of Shaker’s award-winning Virtual Job Tryout technology and its supporting platform that delivers assessments to more than three million candidates each year.

As Global CTO of SHL, Stephens led the development of the world’s largest assessment platform, delivering more than 30 million assessments annually. Bringing together more than nine global acquisitions, Stephens oversaw bringing products and services into a single, coherent, multi-tenant SaaS platform, resulting in exponential growth rates. Responsible for customer-facing and corporate infrastructure along with quality assurance and technical support, Stephens ensured the end-to-end delivery of products and services that exceeded customer and partner expectations.
Stephens also previously served as CTO at Vanco Payments and Focus Pointe Global, operating partner at Fortium Partners, and was a co-founder of Xceleration Partners, a firm assisting companies in M&A readiness, execution, and integration. He also has held senior technology roles at multiple large-scale communications companies
