COURTENAY, British Columbia, July 03, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Desperate for answers, Judy Peterson is raising billboards in Comox Valley, B.C. on July 5 to draw attention to the case of her missing daughter.
Lindsey Jill Nicholls vanished 25 years ago on August 2, 1993. The 14-year-old was last seen walking down Royston Road to meet friends in Courtenay, B.C.
She never arrived.
The RCMP suspect foul play, but the case remains unsolved.
Peterson is convinced someone has information about Lindsey’s disappearance. She’s hoping the billboards will trigger memories and generate tips.
“Someone knows something. We hope that this exposure will convince them to come forward and provide the last piece of the puzzle,” Peterson says.
