IMSTA FESTA Chicago to Return to SAE Institute

The annual celebration of music technology presented by the International Music Software Trade Associate returns to the Chicago campus of SAE Institute located at 820 North Orleans Street on Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 11:00AM – 6:00PM.


Chicago, IL, July 09, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- SAE Institute, a global leader in creative media education, has partnered with the International Music Software Trade Association (IMSTA) once again to host IMSTA FESTA at its Chicago campus located at 820 North Orleans Street on Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 11:00AM – 6:00PM.

IMSTA FESTA is a celebration of music technology that is free to attend and open to the public. The event attracts music makers of all levels and genres, and it offers attendees the opportunity to network with other artists, participate in workshops and panels, and see the latest music technology from some of the largest brands in the industry.

Highlighting the event will be the keynote speech at noon delivered by GRAMMY®-winning mix engineer Dave Pensado and Executive Producer Herb Trawick. Pensado is recognized as one of the leading online educators in the audio industry, and he has mix credits that include Michael Jackson, Kelly Clarkson, Beyoncé, Elton John, Christina Aguilera, and more. Trawick’s managerial experience lends to expertise on intellectual property, business affairs, digital media, and more.

Following the keynote will be masterclasses presented by Native Instruments, FabFilter, Celemony, and PreSonus, exploring a range of topics including recording vocals and creating live performances. Throughout the event, product specialists from Avid, Focusrite, Native Instruments, Blue Cat Audio, and many more will demonstrate their latest products and meet with those in attendance to answer questions and offer user tips and tricks.
