Kubotek Licenses Datakit Technology

LYON, France and MARLBOROUGH, Mass., July 11, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Datakit, a leading CAD Data Exchange Company and Kubotek3D, developer of 3D mechanical CAD software, announce that Kubotek has licensed Datakit translation technology for inclusion in their all-new CAD utility products to be released this fall.

"Datakit’s independent CAD translation technology is a perfect fit for our nonpartisan next generation products," said John Wright McCullough, Marketing General Manager of Kubotek3D. "Datakit’s technology makes it easier for our products to read all data from proprietary CAD files including models, PMI, and drawings. Datakit also enables us to support multiple platforms and product licensing methods."

Kubotek will use the Datakit technology to extend the range of CAD formats supported and improve translation capabilities in the new Kubotek offerings.

"Datakit is committed to providing the best in translation technology for CAD/CAM/CAE software vendors,” said Olivier Rigollet, COO of Datakit. “The Kubotek selection of Datakit technology reflects the quality of technology and support we have achieved based on this commitment," Mr Rigollet continued.
