Ticket Summit to Be Held at Caesars Palace Las Vegas July 16-18

Annual ticketing conference to draw hundreds of attendees from across the ticketing industry


SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn., July 16, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ticket Summit, the leading conference and trade show for ticketing and live entertainment professionals, starts today at its new home of Caesars Palace Las Vegas and will continue through Wednesday, July 18. The conference begins today at 4 PM Pacific with the Networking Cocktail Party, presented by Event Tickets Center.

Tomorrow, July 17, the conference schedule continues with panels on numerous topics, including Online Marketing: Improve Your Brand, Managing Your Inventory, The Future of the Secondary Market: A Broker’s Perspective, presented by Broker Genius, and Inside College Sports. The schedule also includes the Workshops for Entrepreneurs, covering topics such as insurance, legal concerns, marketplace data and analytics, strategic planning, and mergers & acquisitions.

The centerpiece of Tuesday’s schedule is the keynote panel Worldwide Trends in Live Events, featuring leadership from AXS, Elevate Sports Ventures, Legends, and Ticketmaster.

On Wednesday, July 18, panels include Legislative Issues in the Ticketing Industry, featuring a call from Congressman Bill Pascrell, NJ-9th, Managing a Growing Brokerage, and Ticketmaster’s Innovative Technology & Tools: Engineered to Help You Succeed in a Digital Ticketing World. Wednesday’s workshops include an executive coaching session and another session on legal concerns for small business owners. Mike Lorenc, Head of Industry—Ticketing, Sports, and Live Events at Google, will also discuss The Google Approach to Ticketing.

The conference schedule will wrap up on Wednesday at 3:30 PM with the keynote panel The Ticketing Industry, featuring Curtis Cheng of DTI Management, Russ D’Souza of SeatGeek, Michael Katz of StubHub, Larry Plawsky of Ticketmaster, and Don Vaccaro of TicketNetwork.

The event will conclude with the Closing Gala at OMNIA from 7 PM to 10 PM on Wednesday, July 18.
