ResponsiveEd Becomes Google’s First G Suite Enterprise for Education Customer


LEWISVILLE, Texas, July 19, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Google and CDW-G representatives recently visited the home office of ResponsiveEd in Lewisville, Texas to congratulate them on becoming the world’s first company to launch Google’s G Suite Enterprise for Education.

Google Manager Kevin Hodges along with CDW-G Executive Matt Shortell met with ResponsiveEd CEO Chuck Cook, COO Robert Davison and Information Services Vice President Wes Cockrum to discuss implementation of the new platform designed for enhanced security and increased bandwidth across the company’s computer network.

The G Suite Enterprise for Education platform is Google’s premium software solution designed for large institutions. Some of the features include advanced security and administration controls for data loss prevention, secure privacy protection, enhanced retention and archiving capabilities along with a robust video conferencing network that supports up to 50 participants and can be used for corporate conferencing or classroom collaboration.

Working with its software supplier, CDW-G, this summer ResponsiveEd began deploying G Suite Enterprise for Education for use across its network of public charter schools comprised of 3,400 employees and more than 20,000 students.
