Sunworks Celebrates Ribbon Cutting Event for Solar Carport Installation at the Roseville 76 Station


ROSEVILLE, Calif., Aug. 02, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sunworks, Inc. (Nasdaq:SUNW), a premier provider of high performance solar power solutions for agricultural, commercial, industrial (ACI), public works and residential markets, today celebrated the completion of a 131.34 kW solar carport installation at the Roseville 76 Station. A ribbon cutting ceremony took place this morning at the site’s location in Roseville, CA.

Robert Robinson, owner of the station, commented, “Mitigating the urban heat island effect and reducing our carbon footprint through the use of clean, renewable energy is an important objective for our company, one I believe is shared by the residents of Roseville. Sunworks’ dedicated, in-house construction team managed engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) for this project. Today’s ceremony at the Roseville 76 Station included representatives from the corporate offices of Phillips 66, as well as Bonnie Gore, Roseville’s Vice-Mayor, Charlie Curry, District Representative to Assemblyman Kevin Kiley, Christine Rydell, Senior District Representative to Senator Jim Nielsen, Cartin Lavin, California Solar and Storage Association, and senior leadership of Sunworks.
