METAIRIE, La., Aug. 08, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Upstream Exploration LLC (“Upstream” or the “Company”) a privately-held independent oil and gas exploration and production company, announced today that William Weidner, P.E. joined Upstream in July as Senior Staff Engineer.
Mr. Weidner is an accomplished engineer with strong drilling and completions experience primarily in both onshore and offshore Louisiana. His successful drilling and completion experience and understanding of Louisiana make him an ideal addition to assist Upstream in unlocking the value of its Louisiana prospects. Prior to joining Upstream, Mr. Weidner served as Partner and Vice President of Engineering at Crescent Drilling and Production, Inc. where he led a team that provided design, supervision and project management of oil and gas field operations. Mr. Weidner specialized in designing, drilling and completion of numerous offshore and onshore exploration and development projects. Mr. Weidner earned a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University and is a registered professional Petroleum Engineer.
