The Funding Centre for Social Welfare and Health Organizations (STEA) has selected Innofactor in a public procurement competition as the provider of ICT services. The target of the procurement is further development, using agile methods, of the electronic services system previously supplied by Innofactor. It includes implementing development projects during the contract period, ensuring that orders and deliveries match, and supporting the implementation of new features. Additionally, the procurement includes the support and maintenance services related to the above-mentioned system. The contract period is estimated to start in October–November 2018 and its duration is four (4) years. The estimated total value (excluding VAT) stated by the customer in the procurement decision is EUR 2,087,941.

"It is great to be able to further develop this service system for the Funding Centre for Social Welfare and Health Organizations. We have long experience on implementing similar digitalization projects using agile methods, and we are sure that together we can reach STEA's goals in this area. The deal further strengthens Innofactor's leading position in the case management market in Finland," says Innofactor's CEO Sami Ensio.

The Funding Centre for Social Welfare and Health Organizations (STEA) is a standalone state-aid authority operating in connection with the Administration and Planning Department of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health, which is responsible for the preparation, payment, monitoring, and impact evaluation of funds granted to social and health organizations from Veikkaus Oy gaming income. STEA also manages the communications related to the application and use of government subsidies.

The decision will be legally valid after the appeal period defined in the Procurement Act has passed.
