GCC Terminates Market Maker Agreement


CHIHUAHUA, Mexico, Sept. 25, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Grupo Cementos de Chihuahua, S.A.B. de C.V. (BMV: GCC*) informs the market that it has made an early termination of the market maker agreement with UBS Casa de Bolsa, S.A. de C.V., UBS Grupo Financiero, for trading its shares on the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV).  The agreement began on March 12, 2018 and ended at the close of markets yesterday.

The agreement was entered into in order to promote the liquidity of the Company’s stock.  During the course of 2018, GCC’s ranking for liquidity on the BMV rose 20 places, and the stock is now classified as “High Liquidity” by the BMV.
