Com-Guard.com, Inc. Announces That it has Ported the Previously Licensed ImageTech Unique Platform for Secure and Mobile Printing to the Low-Cost Raspberry Pi W for the Mobile and Legacy Printer Marketplace

ENCINITAS, Calif., Sept. 25, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via OTC PR WIRE -- Com-Guard.com, Inc., (CGUD), the technology company that has been designing and developing security applications for over 15 years, would like to announce that it has continued its strategic relationship with ImageTech Corporation. Com-Guard.com, Inc. has expanded its expertise using the Raspberry Pi line of Computers and Com-Guard and its Engineering experts have ported the ImageTech unique printing platform solution for secure and mobile printing to the low-cost Raspberry Pi W for the mobile and Legacy Printer marketplace.

“Users of the technology will be able to print from their mobile devices directly and securely to the millions of installed Legacy Printers in use today,” said Dr. Edward W. Savarese, CEO of Com-Guard.com, Inc.

As previously stated by Dr. Edward W. Savarese, CEO of Com-Guard, "We are currently using the Raspberry Pi Platform for Hardware and Software development. The Raspberry Pi platform is now the third largest selling hardware platform of all time as stated in a recent article titled 'The Raspberry Pi is now the third best-selling computer of all time.'" On March 18, 2017, David Nield stated that, “The Raspberry Pi is now the third best-selling general purpose computer of all time, MagPi magazine says, edging out the Commodore 64 in the all-time rankings. Over 12.5 million boards have been shipped in the last five years. The top two in the list are, as you might expect, the PC and the Mac.”

Mr. Gerry Berg, Corporate Secretary, has stated that, “We at ImageTech Corporation are excited to see the work that Com-Guard.com, Inc. has completed using our proprietary technology to further enhance the market for mobile and secure printing for Legacy Printers.”

Also, Dr. Savarese has stated that, “The following article says it all about why the Company has chosen the Raspberry Pi as its solution for the Hardware and Software Platform of its products.” In an article by Jason Hiner, March 5, 2017 titled, “Why Raspberry Pi is the future of computing devices”, he stated, “On the strength of its new $10 Raspberry Pi Zero W, it's hard not to look at the Pi and see the technology industry's next wave. With the Internet of Things on pace to grow from 6 billion devices in 2016 to over 25 billion in 2020--according to Gartner and IDC--we're entering an era where technology will become smaller, cheaper, and far more inconspicuous. Perhaps the flagship device of this new era is the Raspberry Pi.” A printing product based on the low-cost Raspberry Pi W is expected in the Fourth Calendar Quarter of 2018.
