MONTREAL, Oct. 01, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Meteorite Capital Inc. (“Meteorite”), a Capital Pool Company, is pleased to announce the closing of its initial public offering of 5,000,000 common shares at a price of $0.15 per share for a total amount of $750,000 to investors in the provinces of Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia. Leede Jones Gable Inc. acted as lead agent for Meteorite (the “Agent”).
The Agent received a cash commission of $75,000 and a corporate finance fee of $12,500. In addition, the Agent and certain of its sub-agents received 500,000 non-transferable broker options exercisable at a price of $0.15 per share for a period of 24 months following the closing of the offering and entitling them to acquire up to 500,000 common shares.
In accordance with Policy 2.4 of the TSX Venture Exchange Inc. (the “TSX-V”), the common shares of Meteorite will begin trading on the TSX-V under the ticker symbol MTR two (2) days following the issuance by the TSX-V of its final bulletin which is expected shortly.

The only business of Meteorite is the identification and evaluation of assets or businesses with a view to completing a “Qualifying Transaction” in accordance with TSX-V Policy 2.4 – Capital Pool Companies.
