Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) to select winners from among finalists on October 20th

ATLANTA, Oct. 08, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), the state’s leading association dedicated to the promotion and economic advancement of Georgia’s technology industry, today announced that Smoke Cartel has been chosen as a Finalist for the 2018 Excalibur Awards.

Winners are selected from among the finalists and will be officially recognized at the 2018 Excalibur Awards ceremony on October 19, 2018 at the Georgia Aquarium located at 225 Baker St NW, in Downtown Atlanta.

The Annual Excalibur Awards celebrates Georgia companies and organizations that have taken advantage of technology to conquer the competition.

Smoke Cartel was selected from a variety of applications submitted by companies and organizations from across the state. Smoke Cartel built Warely, a proprietary custom cloud ERP system that manages the company’s inventory, purchasing decisions, logistics, customized business logic, and detailed analytics used to improve customer retention rates and enhance marketing success. Warely provides industry insights by tapping into large datasets of consumers, allowing Smoke Cartel to make data driven decisions in a rapidly changing industry.

“It is an honor to have our technology recognized by TAG as we continue to bring technological innovation to Georgia,” said Smoke Cartel President and CTO Sean Geng. “Warely has been paramount to providing Smoke Cartel a competitive advantage in the tech-driven e-commerce and dropshipping space, and has the potential to do the same for other e-commerce businesses.”

“We are truly pleased to honor the recipients of the 2018 Excalibur Awards,” said Larry K. Williams, president & CEO of TAG. “TAG is fueling the innovation economy.
