The previously unexpected benchmark this early in the company’s development is credited by management to the surge in the low speed electric vehicle market (LSEV) driven largely by the growing interest in electric scooters, bikes and motorcycles for urban transportation. The global LSEV market attained a size of $35.2 billion in 2017 and is forecasted to reach $68 billion by 2025.
