FinancialForce Fall 2018 PSA Release Helps Accelerate Growth for Services-driven Organizations

Optimized for Fast-growing Enterprise Services Organizations, Fall 2018 PSA Release Features Next-generation Analytics and Forecasting, Lightning UX, Language Packs, and Integration Hub

LAS VEGAS, Oct. 15, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- FinancialForce, the highest customer-rated Professional Services Automation (PSA) cloud solution for both midsize and enterprise organizations according to G2 Crowd, announced the general availability of its Fall 2018 PSA product release (Release.) The Release features significant functionality enhancements designed to accelerate the growth of complex midsize and enterprise services organizations.

The Release unveils a PSA Analytics application (powered by the Salesforce Einstein Platform), advanced forecasting, and an improved user experience. The Release also debuts French, Spanish, and Dutch language packs for organizations running global business operations, as well as a new Integration Hub to accelerate and simplify the connection between FinancialForce and third-party applications. Combined with an upgraded user experience with Salesforce Lightning, the Release empowers services professionals to more optimally track business and drive growth.

Built-in Enterprise-grade Forecasting and Analytics

FinancialForce PSA Analytics empowers services professionals to drive growth and track business health with greater confidence, flexibility, and predictability. Powered by Salesforce Einstein, PSA Analytics delivers a unified data and artificial intelligence (AI) layer, capturing every customer touchpoint from deal pursuit and project delivery to revenue recognition, billing, and contract renewal. Users can quickly drill down into real-time performance metrics, including capacity, utilization, and backlog through multi-dimensional analysis, and rapidly personalize dashboards and reports with just a few clicks - all without needing to log into a separate BI tool or application.

Advanced forecasting modeling using tailored service delivery curves also improves accuracy and insight. Planners can reduce time-to-staff with enhanced skills searching and hierarchies, improve resource utilization, and deliver billable hours even faster. The combination of real-time sales pipeline with project and resource data offers a 360-degree view across CRM, PSA, and financial applications for complete account lifecycle management.

Integration Made Simple and Durable

Customers will get more value from FinancialForce and other connected business applications through the launch of the FinancialForce Integration Hub. The Integration Hub will provide standardized, packaged API integrations between FinancialForce and third-party business applications.

“FinancialForce serves a broad set of customers across a heterogeneous IT landscape,” said Bennet Yen, Vice President, FinancialForce Product Management. “The FinancialForce Integration Hub will enable us to accelerate and simplify the way our applications connect with many of the most popular business applications our customers use, both on and off the Salesforce Platform. Our customers want a simple solution to unlock their data silos and run their business at speed. We’re removing the headaches associated with bringing data together from different applications and maintaining the integrity of those connections.”

Starting with the Fall Release, FinancialForce will offer several connectors through the Integration Hub, including a connector between FinancialForce and SAP Concur, a leading travel and expense management solution. Additional packaged integration connectors will be announced as they become available.

Next-generation UX for More Productive Users

Welcome to the era of Lightning Experience (LEX), a thoroughly modern user experience built for speed, scale, and flexibility. The Release delivers full Salesforce Lightning adoption and increased business-critical data protection across the portfolio of products. Users can also personalize the UI, leverage quick navigational tools such as the Utility Bar for one-click access to critical data, and integrate with Microsoft Outlook or Gmail. Executives, resource managers, project managers, and consultants will benefit from the intuitive user experience and consistency across sales, services, and finance.
