The Meritorious Service Medal Awarded to Doctor Éric Nadeau and Doctor John Morris Fairbrother


MONTREAL, Oct. 18, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Prevtec Microbia Inc. (Prevtec) - Dr. Éric Nadeau, co-founder and Vice-President, Scientific Affairs at Prevtec Microbia and adjunct professor at the Faculté de médecine vétérinaire of the Université de Montréal and Dr. John Morris Fairbrother, also co-founder of Prevtec Microbia and professor at the Faculté de médecine vétérinaire of the Université de Montréal, will receive the Meritorious Service Medal from the Governor General of Canada, Her Excellency the Right Honorable Julie Payette, in recognition of their work that led to the invention of Coliprotec®, innovative vaccines that are alternatives to antibiotics in pig production, and that led to the foundation of Prevtec Microbia Inc.

The Meritorious Service Decorations (Civil Division) enable the Governor General to recognize, on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen and all Canadians, the outstanding achievements of individuals who have demonstrated excellence and innovation, serving as example and bringing honor to the country.
