Early Bird Registration Open Until December 18th

BOSTON, Oct. 22, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- LearnLaunch Institute and MIT Open Learning unveiled today the agenda for the 7th annual Across Boundaries Conference, January 31-February 1, 2019 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston.

The Across Boundaries Conference explores the thriving education innovation sector from the viewpoint of one of its global hubs, Boston. Across Boundaries brings together educators, entrepreneurs, investors, and education professionals from across the ecosystem, early childhood through K-12, higher education, and workforce development, to discuss the challenges and opportunities around technology in education.

Keynotes
We are pleased to announce the first three confirmed keynotes for the 2019 Across Boundaries Conference:

Ryan Craig is Co-Founder and Managing Director of University Ventures and the author of A New U: Faster + Cheaper Alternatives to College (Ben Bella, 2018), which describes the critical importance of last-mile training and the emergence of bootcamps, income share programs, staffing and apprenticeship models as preferred pathways to good first digital jobs.

She’ll delve into what the social dimension of learning looks like online, address how she and her team work to dissolve the distance between instructors and students, and provide helpful advice for higher ed innovators and entrepreneurs who are looking to increase access and outcomes for learners.
