Couchbase Announces New Headquarters Relocation to Accommodate Growth

Santa Clara, Calif., Oct. 24, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Couchbase, Inc., creator of the world’s first Engagement Database, today announced it has moved its corporate headquarters to 3250 Olcott Street in Santa Clara, Calif., to accommodate strong company growth. The location of the expansive, newly-refurbished facility lends itself to shorter commute times for most of Couchbase’s Bay Area employees while offering a wide array of amenities. Couchbase today also announced the opening of its first office in France to support its growing employee and customer base in the region.

“This is an exciting time for Couchbase and its employees, customers, and partners who will all benefit from the opportunities this expansion presents,” said Matt Cain, President and CEO, Couchbase. “Couchbase's new offices are modern and inclusive, and have been optimized for collaboration and innovation across our teams as well as visiting partners and customers.”

The new space reflects Couchbase’s strategic vision of delivering exceptional customer and employee experiences. The building is located near biking and jogging trails and features an open layout with a large all-purpose room to host the company’s community lunches, all-hands meetings, happy hours, and developer meet-ups; a large patio with outdoor seating; large conference rooms and small huddle rooms alike; bike lockers and showers; and an executive briefing center (EBC). The EBC will provide visiting customers and partners with hands-on demos of the Couchbase Data Platform, which includes Couchbase Server and Couchbase Mobile, as well as Couchbase Managed Cloud.

“As we continue to grow our world-class team at Couchbase, we required a world-class facility to not only accommodate this growth, but to provide a nurturing environment that fosters creativity and teamwork in the heart of the Silicon Valley,” said Greg Henry, CFO, Couchbase. “The property at 3250 Olcott is ideal for our needs, and we are excited to offer such a spacious, collaborative workspace to our employees.”
