This light operates on 120-277V AC and is stepped down to 12V DC or 24V DC with an inline transformer. This Class I Divisions 1 & 2, Class II Divisions 1 & 2, Class III Divisions 1 & 2 light fixture is built with durable aluminum and unbreakable polycarbonate for hazardous work areas and produces 1,320 lumens while drawing just 12 watts.
The EXHL-LE1-XLV-100 is a durable explosion proof handheld LED light fixture rated for Class I Divisions 1 & 2, Groups B, C, D, Class I Zones 1& 2, Groups IIB+H2, IIA, Class II Divisions 1 & 2, Groups E, F, G and Class III Divisions 1 & 2 and listed for worldwide use. An inline transformer allows operators to utilize 12V DC or 24V DC on 120-277V AC current and is encapsulated and weatherproofed, but it is not explosion proof and must be placed outside of the hazardous area. This explosion proof LED features both spot and flood light configurations. The spot has a 10˚ beam measuring 800 feet long and 140 feet wide. The flood has a 40˚ beam measuring 300 feet long and 225 feet wide. A 5-inch ergonomic handle makes usage convenient and comfortable.
The Larson Electronics EXHL-LE1-XLV-100 handheld LED light contains advanced drivers to control heat buildup and can automatically sense each LED’s temperature and adjust the energy frequency accordingly. This light fixture produces more light with less heat giving the LED a longer lifespan with an average 70% lumen maintenance after 50,000 hours.
The light is rated NEMA Type 3, 4, 4X, 7 (B, C, D) and 9 (E, F, G), can operate in temperatures of -40˚C to 60˚C. The housing is waterproof to three meters and resists dust, dirt and humidity making this LED fixture ideal for demanding environmental and operational conditions. For safe and reliable electrical connections there are 100 feet of 16/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cable between the light and transformer and 10 feet of 16/3 cord between the transformer and the cord cap.
