This safety spotlight is approved Class I & II, Division 1 & 2 and rated for use in wet and marine environments and produces 2,250 lumens of sharp red light while drawing on 2.09 amps from a 12-volt electrical system.
The EPL-TN-CRN-RED is a durable explosion proof LED crane safety spotlight with five, 5-watt red LEDs producing 450 lumens each. This spotlight provides a high-intensity center beam from a high-output parabolic reflector producing a narrow 5˚ spread spot beam which offers powerful crane safety illumination. This unit, including the covers, shell and sealed fittings, is made of sturdy copper-free aluminum. The lens is made of 3/4” thermal tempered glass that is shock and impact resistant.
Most crane warning systems have strobing lights that are not highly visible or become a hinderance to operators or have audible alarms that run continually throughout the day. Some systems have both strobe lights and alarms which can be very disruptive to workers. The EPL-TN-CRN-RED addresses all these issues. The red LED is highly-visible with a steady burn that won’t distract workers and eliminates the need for any audible alarms.
Advanced drivers that pulse with modulation allow this LED spotlight to control heat buildup. These drivers automatically sense each LED’s temperature and adjusts the energy frequency accordingly to maintain acceptable heat level ranges. The LED lights in this spotlight produce more light with less heat and have a longer lifespan with an average of 70% lumen maintenance after 50,000 hours.
