The Detroit Free Press Names Compuware a 2018 Top Workplace

DETROIT, Nov. 12, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Compuware today announced it has been named a “Top Workplace” by the Detroit Free Press for the fourth consecutive year.

The distinguished honor is given to companies based on the results of an employee survey regarding workplace culture administered by research partner Energage, LLC (formerly WorkplaceDynamics), a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.

“We are honored to receive this recognition for the fourth year in a row,” said Compuware CEO Chris O’Malley. “Competing and winning in today’s digital market isn’t easy. You have to be willing to do what’s necessary to win the hearts and minds of your customers. Compuware is a team of passionate explorers obsessed with finding new and better ways to serve our customers. With each customer collaboration, each two-week Agile sprint, each quarterly deliverable, each new product implementation and each support issue resolved, we continuously learn and improve as individual contributors and as a team in our quest to innovate on behalf of our customers.”

“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.”

In addition to providing a supportive culture that values ideas and amplifies talents, Compuware provides comprehensive medical and dental plans, company-paid life and disability insurance, flexible work hours, a generous 401(k) match and career development and education assistance including tuition reimbursement. The company actively works to support its employees' work/life balance by offering resources such as worldwide wellness programs, an inclusive parental leave program, dependent care (child/adult) FSA reimbursement accounts, an employee referral program, and much more. Employees who work at or visit Compuware's Detroit headquarters enjoy an onsite gourmet cafeteria; commuter assistance program; state-of-the art wellness and child development centers; a physician and chiropractor office; dry cleaning services as well as access to onsite retailers and restaurants.
