Chris Loc Dao immigrated to America from Vietnam in 1990. In 2009, realizing the needs to help the next generation of Vietnamese, Mr. Dao formed U.S. Investment Services (USIS) whose mission is to “provide world class mentorship and guidance to help Vietnamese youth reach their maximum potential.” In 2010, in Vietnam, USIS introduced the EB-5 program to Vietnamese investors. Recalling the time when USIS Group was founded in 2009, Chris Loc Dao said at that time only a limited number of agencies worked in the field of the immigrant consultancy services in Vietnam, but they worked mainly to the Canadian market. In a totally new land, USIS Group at that time had the competitive advantage of being a pioneer, but it also faced many challenges, adding that the biggest is the faith of investors in the EB-5 program.
"As the EB-5 program at that time was deemed to be very new in Vietnam, there are so many people did not trust EB-5 and were so skeptical that they could not see the chance of success. Therefore, in 2010, Mr. Chris Loc Doc returned to the United States and invited the President of the Board of Governors of the United States and the Government delegation to Vietnam to introduce the U.S. EB-5 Immigrant Investor Visa Program for the whole family.
When the chairman of the U.S. National Board of Governors came to Vietnam to present to more than 250 investors, many began started to trust and come to the USIS Group. With the confidence of the investor, Mr. Dao and his associates created the USIS Group with a guiding principle that is "taking the success of the customer as the success of the company itself."
Up to this point, USIS Group is still the first company in Vietnam to have capital investment refunded and its customers have been granted permanent green cards. Despite tough times when I almost fell into a rough patch, I never surrender in the face of adversity. Whenever I fell, I faced up to things, worked through them, that’s what made me strong,” said Mr. Dao.
A country wishing to develop requires a talented young generation. One of the main driving forces in his work is to see young Vietnamese succeed in the United States and around the world.
