Blade selected INAP’s Dallas Data Center for strategic location, data security and low latency enabled by INAP’s route-optimized Performance IPTM technology

RESTON, Va. and PARIS, Nov. 29, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Internap Corporation (NASDAQ: INAP), a global provider of performance-driven, full-spectrum data center and cloud solutions, and Blade, the creator of Shadow, the first ever high-end PC in the cloud that is accessible using any Internet-enabled computer or smart device, today announced an agreement for high-density colocation at INAP’s Dallas Data Center.

Following its recent expansion from Europe, Blade has been steadily rolling out across the United States. Beginning with states along the West and East Coasts, the deal with INAP will now allow the platform to be available to users across multiple Southern and Midwestern states.

“We are pleased to begin a partnership with Blade, a fast-growing global gaming company that is revolutionizing the gaming experience,” said Corey Needles, SVP and General Manager of INAP US.  “Companies in this sector recognize INAP’s high-performance data center services can provide them with the flexibility, power and low latency required to ensure the best gamer experience.” Blade will anchor INAP’s recently expanded Dallas Data Center. The Dallas location provides the company a diverse data center given its superiority in density of power, network and security. INAP’s Performance IP will be utilized across Blade’s infrastructure to provide low latency – a top priority for anybody in the streaming sector.
