Swimlane Commands Recognition in Four Awards Competitions

SOAR leader wins Golden Bridge Award for cybersecurity, named finalist for three additional honors

Denver, Dec. 05, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Swimlane, a leader in security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR), has been named the Gold Winner for Security Solution for Enterprise (Large) Innovations at the Golden Bridge Awards. The company was also named an Emerging Tech Company of the Year finalist for the Colorado Technology Association APEX Awards, finalist for the BizWest IQ Awards in the Software — Application category, and a finalist for Computing Security Excellence’s Security Automation Award.

“Legend tells us that when explorer Earnest Shackleton set out on his Antarctic expedition, he took out an ad that read, ‘Men wanted for hazardous journey, small wages, bitter cold, long months of complete darkness, constant danger, safe return doubtful, honor and recognition in case of success,’” said Cody Cornell, Swimlane’s co-founder and CEO. “A tech startup is a lot like that—high risk with a small chance for success but the opportunity to be pioneers and maybe even make the world a little bit better. As we forge through the cybersecurity space with our SOAR solution, it’s truly humbling to be recognized as a leader and innovator.”

The Golden Bridge Awards recognize and honor the world's best in organizational performance, products and services, innovations and more. According to its website, the Golden Bridge Awards is the world's premier "Business Awards" program honoring achievements in every industry around the world.

The Security Automation Award was new for 2018 and is awarded to the most compelling security solution using artificial intelligence, machine learning or other types of automation.
