UPDATE: Momenta Pharmaceuticals Announces Pricing of Public Offering of Common Stock


CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Dec. 06, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Momenta Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: MNTA), a biotechnology company with a validated scientific platform focused on discovering and developing novel therapeutics to treat rare, immune-mediated diseases, today announced the pricing of its underwritten public offering of 17,391,305 shares of its common stock at the public offering price of $11.50 per share for total aggregate gross proceeds to Momenta of approximately $200 million. Momenta has granted the underwriter an option to purchase up to an additional 2,608,695 shares of its common stock, exercisable for 30 days. 

Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC is acting as sole book-running manager for the offering. 

The offering is being made pursuant to an effective shelf registration statement on Form S-3 that was initially filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on February 29, 2016. A preliminary prospectus supplement describing the terms of the offering has been filed with the SEC and forms a part of the effective registration statement.
