This exciting project aimed to outshine the competition by updating the hotel in its entirety, including all guest rooms, dining areas, lounge, fitness center, event spaces and lobby. In June 2016 GF Management, a leading national hotel ownership and management company, announced that, through its affiliate, it had acquired the 353-room DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando Airport located two miles from Orlando International Airport. This acquisition is the third hotel in the Orlando market acquired by the Company in recent years, adding to the 2013 acquisitions of the Embassy Suites Lake Buena Vista Resort, and the Hilton Garden Inn Orlando/North Lake Mary. GF Management specializes in hotels, resorts, golf courses and other related hospitality assets and has pledged $8 million in renovations at the property.

The modern glass enclosed Atrium, offering 4,000 square feet of flexible event space for groups, is the perfect pre-function space or reception area. All 348-oversized guest rooms and bathrooms at DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando Airport were completely renovated to include first-class amenities. Each room now features improved high-speed Internet access, in-room refrigerators, microwaves, spacious desks, functional end tables with multiple outlets and charging ports, as well as 55" HD televisions with over 60 channels, including HBO. In addition, the bathrooms feature new LED backlit mirrors, individual illuminated make-up mirrors, vanities, vinyl wall paper and tiling to match the modern theme displayed throughout the hotel. Rounding out the bathroom renovations, Hilton Honors floors now feature upgraded shower stalls with glass enclosed entries.
The property’s full-service restaurant, the Landings Bistro, was also refreshed during the renovations, creating a comfortable space for its guests to indulge in exciting breakfast, lunch and dinner options. The newly equipped Breakfast Buffet features a cooked-to-order egg and omelet station. The lounge now features multiple media walls and a contemporary design that will help guests relax and recharge with one of the many drink options available, as well as keeping up with current events.
Fitness minded guests can continue their work out routine while away from home by utilizing the 24-hour fitness center. The brand new fitness center offers Precor exercise equipment featuring free weights, stationary bikes, treadmills, ellipticals and much more.
