Students’ Spokesperson Available for Comment Following Ministry of Training Colleges and University Announcement

Toronto—The Chairperson for the Canadian Federation of Students-Ontario, Nour Alideeb, will be available for in-person comment on the government’s anticipated post-secondary education policy announcement today.

Students are awaiting potential policy proposals associated with the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP), the provincial tuition fee framework - which regulates annual tuition fee increases for post-secondary students in the province - and other sector-related announcements.

 

Founded in 1981, the Canadian Federation of Students is the largest post-secondary student organization in the country, representing over 500,000 students nationally and over 350,000 provincially. The Federation advocates for universal, tuition-free, public post-secondary education.
