AIRDRIE, Alberta, Feb. 26, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Vitreous Glass Inc. ("Vitreous" or the "Corporation") (TSX-V:VCI) announces that today it has re-filed its audited financial statements for the years ended September 30, 2018 and 2017, as the originally filed financial statements, which were filed on December 10, 2018, contained incorrect information in the Statements of Cash Flows as a result of an administrative error. The amortization amounts included in total cost of sales on the Statements of Income and Comprehensive Income were not included in the amortization amounts added back on the Statements of Cash Flows, resulting in the ending cash and cash equivalents balance on the Statements of Cash Flows for the years ended September 30, 2018 and 2017 not reconciling to the Statements of Financial Position. The correction does not impact any of the amounts in the Statements of Financial Position, Statements of Income and Comprehensive Income, Statements of Changes in Shareholders' Equity, or any of the notes to the financial statements. In addition, the correction to the Statements of Cash Flows do not impact any information contained in the management's discussion and analysis of the Corporation for the year ended September 30, 2018. No other changes have been made to the financial statements.
