Geological mapping in December of the sparse outcrops in the valley pediment on the western flank of the Reveille range. This is a quartz latite porphyry with intense sericite alteration, disseminations of pyrite boxworks, stockworks of quartz veinlets with limonite after pyrite, and local limonite cemented breccia. The outcrop is where the three rock samples are shown in Figure 1 in the northern part of the alteration halo to the core magnetic anomaly at Reveille.
