Job opening
The first Vestas V236-15.0MW nacelle is transported from Port of Hanstholm in Denmark to the Østerild Wind Turbine Test Center in Northern Jutland. Once installed, the V236-15.0MW will be the largest wind turbine in the world.

Aerial images of Walney Extension West Offshore Wind Farm. Completed in 2018 the wind farm, located in the Irish Sea 19km from the coast of Cumbria, UK features 40 MHI Vestas Offshore Wind V164-8.0 wind turbines. The turbines have been optimised to produce 8.25MW, making Walney Extension West the first wind farm in the world to exceed 8.0MW per turbine.
