Aspiro's Mobile Services Offered via AT&T Wireless mMode


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, April 24, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- By working together with AT&T Wireless, Aspiro is adding another American wireless operator as a customer and distributor of its mobile services. Aspiro offers a set of Community services at AT&T Wireless' mMode(sm) portal as of April.

AT&T Wireless launched mMode(sm) last week. mMode provides dozens of unique services that enable AT&T Wireless customers to use their wireless phones for much more than placing phone calls. mMode gives AT&T Wireless customers access to information and people they care about most - with a few clicks of their keypads. mMode is available in all AT&T Wireless GSM(tm)/GPRS markets.

Aspiro is offering a Love Community Service, called "Temptation Zone", targeting young adults from 18 and above, via mMode. The initial services offered are Love Game, Personality Test, Love Horoscope, Pickup Lines and Poetry for Sweet Hearts. The services will continuously evolve as the introduction of new services will deepen the community concept. The content will be managed regularly to ensure that content and services are up to date and that only services that appeal to the end user exists in the community.

The relationship, which initially runs for one year, is built on a business model similar to the Japanese I-mode system, i.e. a revenue share model. Basically, the operator charges for airtime, while a major part of the revenues from using the services go to the service provider. AT&T Wireless takes care of the administration and operation of the services portal including billing while Aspiro handles the operation and administration of the "Temptation Zone" services. Both parties will promote the services, including promotion in AT&T Wireless magazine, "touch."
