Boston, MA, April 13, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- StudyPoint, a leading national provider of private SAT tutoring and ACT tutoring programs, has been named to the Boston Business Journal's Pacesetters list for a third time. The list recognizes the region's fastest-growing private companies. The award joins recent StudyPoint honors including a fifth consecutive appearance on the Inc 5000 list and a recent spot on the 50 Most Engaged Workplaces list.
The Pacesetters list measures each company's performance during the period from 2008 to 2011 and StudyPoint qualified with a three-year growth rate of 54%.
"Talking with other business owners I'm learning more and more how unusual it is to have sustained such steady and strong growth during the economic downturn," said StudyPoint CEO Rich Enos. "There is a degree to which we have taken it for granted, and this award from the Boston Business Journal is a great reminder that our hard work and focus on strong educational programs is paying off. We have a number of new initiatives that are making our SAT and ACT programs more accessible for students around the country and the world, and we're excited to see if those initiatives help us earn a spot on next year's list."
Other companies named to the list include the high-flying online retailer Wayfair.com and nano-technology leader Cambridge NanoTech. The full ranking and information on the fastest growing Massachusetts companies in 2011 will be released next month.
