NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Oct 16, 2012) - BNP Paribas Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) today announced the appointment of Jon Bass as Head of Fixed Income Sales and Investor Relationship Manager (IRM) for the US.
In this newly created post, Mr. Bass will ensure that the Bank's resources are aligned with clients' needs across Fixed Income and Global Equities and Commodity Derivatives (GECD). Mr. Bass will be based in New York reporting locally to Christian Mundigo and Kip Testwuide, Co-Heads of Fixed Income, as well as to Chris Innes, Head of Equities. In London, he will report to Arne Groes, Global Head of Fixed Income Sales and Talbot Stark, Global Head of IRM.

The senior relationship managers within the IRM Americas team and the three Heads of Sales within Fixed Income Americas (Rates, Credit and Foreign Exchange) will all report to Mr. Bass.
Mr. Bass brings with him over 25 years of industry experience. After 14 years at Citigroup/Salomon Brothers as a leading Fixed Income producer and, later, a Managing Director, he then joined UBS. He served as Head of US Fixed Income Distribution and also Head of Client Relationship Management Team during his nine years at UBS. Prior to joining BNP Paribas, Mr. Bass was Head of Global Distribution across Fixed Income, Equities and Commodities platform at MF Global.
