CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - Feb 26, 2015) - JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization), the organizer of the Japan Pavilion at the International Home and Housewares Show (IH+HS), is pleased to have the opportunity to introduce the best of Japanese design and innovation for the fourth time at the world's premier housewares show, at Chicago's McCormick Place from March 7-10.
There will be 17 companies, including 8 new participants represented in two Japan Pavilions. Exhibiting in the pavilion in the North Building: DAISAKU SHOJI (N6753), TAKEDA CORPORATION (N6754), Hasegawa (N6756), HATTORI'S (N6853 & N6854), ideaco (N6856). Those exhibiting in the South Building: SanYoshi (S867), SiTRA (S868), TAKENAKA (S869), TOJIRO JAPAN (S870), Plakira (S871), WASARA (S872), YOSHIKAWA (S873), PRAIRIE DOG (S969), KOTODO (S970), Wired Beans (S971), KODAI SANGYO (S972), SUNCRAFT (S973).
This is the third time that JETRO will organize two pavilions in order to accommodate the exhibitors and the vast array of products they have to offer. Visitors to both pavilions will be able to view firsthand, a variety of "Made in Japan" home goods items that combine traditional Japan, modern Japan, and the ancient culture of Japan. Products include everything from traditional kitchen knives, beautiful tableware, artisan glassware, and woodenware to modern products that apply advanced Japanese technology to bring you eco-friendly, stylish, smart gadgets and housewares.

CLEAN, CONTAIN + SUSTAIN EXPO (North Building)
The North Pavilion (N6753) will feature unique products ranging from "Green" electrolyzed water cleaning products, disposable heat packs, specialty kitchen, bath, health and beauty care items, colorful and effective cleaning products to modern and yet functional home interior goods.
DINE + DESIGN EXPO (South Building)
The South Pavilion (S866) will feature "handmade" products including tea canisters, traditional Japanese knives, glassware, and cookware. Other unique items include, exquisite wood items made from Japanese Cypress, bento boxes, kitchen gadgets, bio-degradable and compostable paper tableware and food storage products.
