Pine Canyon Sales Gain Momentum as 2015 Comes to a Close

FLAGSTAFF, AZ--(Marketwired - Dec 22, 2015) - As 2015 is coming to a close, Pine Canyon, a private, master-planned golf community in Flagstaff, has reported positive sales growth for the year. Signaling a shift in demand for luxury mountain living, sales at Pine Canyon have continued to gain momentum throughout the year.

Real estate sales prices at Pine Canyon have been on the rise, which has created an increase in overall sales revenue for the community. At Pine Canyon, average prices were up by 15 percent from 2014, bringing the total sales volume for 2015 to nearly $30 million. That amount is comprised of $23 million in closed sales, an additional $6.5 million in escrow, and $500,000 from custom homesite reservations. A majority of the lot reservations are from Pine Canyon's newest introduction, Walnut Canyon, which is one of the most pristine neighborhoods in the community. Recently, Pine Canyon was able to secure final public report for Walnut Canyon, and seven reservations were converted to sales.

According to Taber Anderson, chief investment officer of The True Life Companies, the developers of Pine Canyon, "Sales prices and demand are steadily increasing at Pine Canyon, which is creating a decrease in resale and move-in ready inventory. This positive improvement in real estate activity is an ideal time to introduce and develop new product."

In 2016, exciting plans are on the horizon at Pine Canyon. Coconino Ridge, a new phase of modern design influenced cabins focused on indoor/outdoor living, will break ground. Also planned is White Pines Vista, a "lock-and leave" style triplex that will provide owners the option of a fully managed rental program.
