CAPC members complete over 30,000 interactive online courses designed by Principled Technologies

DURHAM, NC--(Marketwired - February 04, 2016) - The Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC), located at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, announced that its members completed over 30,000 courses designed by Principled Technologies (PT).

CAPC is a national organization dedicated to increasing the availability of quality palliative care for people living with serious illness. CAPC provides its members with tools, technical assistance, and training, including online courses, to support the successful implementation and integration of palliative care.

To ensure alignment with its mission, CAPC developed course content to prepare members on how to provide quality palliative care to patients with serious illness. PT worked closely with CAPC to design a case-based, interactive training program that CAPC members find user-friendly and engaging. These clinical and operational modules cover topics in pain management, communication skills, palliative care program design, leadership support, and more.
