Fair Market Value Rates Decrease Twenty Percent in Germany

Fair Market Value Rates in Germany Show an Overall Downward Trend Year Over Year Compared to Rates in the United States and Other European Countries

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC--(Marketwired - April 05, 2016) - April 5, 2016 - Surveyed healthcare specialists in Germany report fair market value (FMV) rates that have declined as much as 20 percent since 2015, according to primary intelligence provider Cutting Edge Information (CEI). This occurred among tier 3 thought leaders, those local-level healthcare providers who have influence within their immediate area or city and who can provide valuable information on the dynamics of the local healthcare community.

According to Global Key Opinion Leader Compensation 2016: CEI's Annual Review of Fair Market Value, FMV rates in Germany show an overall downward trend. From 2015 to 2016, the largest FMV rate decrease for thought leaders in Germany was 13.8 percent for tier 1, 15 percent for tier 2 and 23.4 percent for tier 3.

"Our report research indicates that the downward trend in Germany is not shared by other major European countries," said Jacob Presson, Senior Analyst at Cutting Edge Information. "Data collected from other countries shows that rates in other parts of Europe are actually on the rise compared with last year."
