NYC, May 02, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- RadView Software (OTCMKTS:RDVWF), a leader in load and performance testing for over 20 years, is proud to announce the promotion of two currently serving executives and the addition of a marketing executive.
Chief Financial Officer Omer Levy, CPA, Adv., is now also serving as Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Levy’s work as CFO at RadView over the past three years drove him to establish and improve business processes at the company to the point where RadView CEO Eyal Shalom and the Company's Board of Directors decided to make his dual role official. "Omer's dedication to RadView together with his strong capabilities and drive to perform a versatile and challenging role are proof of his truly great contribution to the company," said Mr. Shalom.
Before joining RadView, Mr. Levy spent 6 years at Ernst & Young, where he gained valuable experience in the financial side of high tech. Omer Levy has an MBA from Tel Aviv University as well as BA and LLB from The College of Management Academic Studies.
RadView Corporate Sales Manager Brian Tourgee is now VP Sales. Mr. Tourgee has had an strong impact on RadView’s bottom line since joining the company two years ago. Mr. Tourgee and his team have increased RadView’s new business sales by over 400%. "Despite all challenges, Brian's efforts and faith in RadView, his consistency and dedication helped to make 2015 our most successful year in the past 8 years," said Mr. Shalom.
Before joining RadView, Mr. Tourgee managed sales at Single Digits, InsightAtlast and Blue River. Mr. Tourgee holds a BA in Political Science from Keene State College.
As a part of RadView’s growth strategy, Kenny Sahr has been appointed VP Marketing. Mr. Sahr recently completed two years at Panaya, an ERP quality change management startup which was acquired by Infosys.
Kenny founded an ISP in 1995 and in 1996 founded a popular student website which was featured in Time Magazine, 60 Minutes and the NY Times. Mr. Sahr successfully ran his internet business for 18 years before re-joining the high tech workforce.
RadView Software’s product and R&D efforts have also picked up steam in early 2016. RadView has completed integration with functional testing tools such as Selenium, Ranorex and OriginalSoftware's TestDrive. This gives the customers the ability to measure the real activity of real users during load, while being able to reuse their previous investment in functional testing during load.
According to RadView VP Product David Buch, “RadView is taking load testing to a new level by allowing DevOps teams to add the browser - and not just the server - to the equation. When RadView was a load testing pioneer 20 years ago, the server was the star of the show. No one took the browser into consideration. Today, the end user impact is just as important as the server side impact.”
“Furthermore, we have added integration with APM tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics and NewRelic, which give the customers the ability to quickly find the root cause of failures and performance issues during the performance tests.”
RadView CEO Eyal Shalom is excited about the promotions. “We made strategic decisions during the 4th quarter of 2015 and are acting on them now,” said Mr. Shalom. “I am confident that our 3 newly promoted executives will enable RadView to pick up the pace. We are eagerly looking forward to a very successful 2016.”
