Jeanault Lasnier from Patriot One will serve on the board with other notable electronic and communications manufactures, including Cisco, Ericsson, Fujitsu, Harris Canada Systems, Lectrosonics Canada and Lenbrook Canada Solutions, Motorola, and Nokia.
The Canadian Electronics and Communications Association (Association Canadienne de l’électronique et des communications) (CECA/ACEC) was incorporated effective April 2015 and is a not for profit industry association representing key manufacturers of electronics and telecommunications equipment. The purposes of CECA/ACEC are to work with members on matters including:
- Spectrum management and radio frequency technical specifications,
- The Radio Advisory Board of Canada,
- Legislation and regulation on electronics, communications, energy efficiency, chemical management and recycling as they affect products and services as well as standards development and government policy development,
- The Regulatory Cooperation Council (RCC) and trade issues, including trade agreements and border services.

He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Engineering Technologist, OACETT, Certified Agile Project Manager, Cert.APM and ISQTB certified in testing methodologies. He serves on boards and committees of several educational and community organizations, and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from the RCC Institute of Technology and is pursuing a dual MBA/MFin at Wilfrid Laurier University (Toronto).
