Peter Schmidlin (36), El. Ing. ETH, has been appointed member of the Executive Committee of the Belimo Group, effective August 1, 2000. In this function, he will head the Technology business unit. Peter Schmidlin has been working for Belimo for more than 12 years and was in charge of the research division in his most recent position.
The concentration of research, development, and manufacturing in the Technology business unit is a further step in implementing the new organizational structures of the Belimo Group initiated two years ago. Thus, in addition to the regions of Europe, Americas, and Asia, the divisions of research, development, and manufacturing will also be represented in the Executive Committee.
The great, strategic importance of product and process innovations for the Belimo Group is thus consistently taken into account.
