Nokia Networks to launch Nokia mCreate(TM) solution


Nokia Networks today announced the launch of its Nokia mCreate(TM) solution providing advanced call related services such as Prepaid and VPN (Virtual Private Networks) for GSM, GPRS and 3rd Generation (3G). The Nokia mCreate(TM) solution will comprise of Nokia's own products complemented with market leading platforms from other companies. Deliveries are expected to start during the second half of this year.

The Nokia mCreate(TM) solution supports GPRS Prepaid and Open Service Architecture (OSA) for 3G. Further it enables a continuum of advanced services in GSM as networks evolve toward GPRS and 3G. The state-of-the-art service creation environment gives flexibility and freedom in service creation to customize and achieve differentiation in a competitive mobile market.

Telcordia Technologies, Inc. will provide new Camel 3 Intelligent Networks (IN) platforms as part of the Nokia mCreate solution to complement the Nokia product portfolio. The agreement with Telcordia is a further step in Nokia's strategy to partner with leading-edge technology companies in order to offer best-in-class solutions for its operator customers.
