BOW EAGLE in Rotterdam

Again we would like to express our deepest regrets that our ship BOW EAGLE has been involved in an accident resulting in the loss of four lives and where our ship failed to assist. Our thoughts are with the next of kin of the deceesed.

Earlier today the Dutch authorities inspected BOW EAGLE and gave permission to enter the port of Rotterdam, The Netherlands. The ship is currently in port and in the process of commencing discharge operations.

The Norwegian Maritime Investigation will take place in Rotterdam, The Netherlands at 10:00 am Friday 30 August 2002.

We will update our Internet home page www.odfjell.com as further information is available.
