Net Insight Awarded $1 Million Order from Allied Telesyn

By combining forces to provide a superior efficient solution, Net Insight and Allied Telesyn allow IOCs to compete in a very challenging environment - launching new television and other video-related services at competitive prices. Previously, Net Insight and Allied Telesyn successfully partnered together to deliver a Triple Play solution to Midwest TelNet, a consortium of IOCs in Wisconsin.

"Allied Telesyn has a strong commitment to Net Insight as its transport solution partner," said Howard Kamerer, COO of Allied Telesyn. "Our unique Triple Play solution places ATI ahead in a market searching for triple play systems that work well and have a bottom-line impact for IOCs."

The partnership's solution is deployed without significant changes to the existing network and can be accessed by subscribers via ADSL over the installed copper wire. This allows the IOC to leverage its system investment by being able to profitably add new revenue streams with low CAPEX and OPEX.

"Together, we provide a cost-effective solution for telco operators that want to offer new high-quality services, like broadcast TV and Video-on-Demand, in addition to legacy data and voice," said Tomas Duffy, CEO of Net Insight. "With Allied Telesyn as our strategic partner, we expect to increase our market share significantly in 2003."
