Photo Release -- Northrop Grumman Appoints Robert F. Brammer Sector Vice President and Chief Technology Officer


HERNDON, Va., July 1, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has named Robert F. (Bob) Brammer vice president and chief technology officer of the company's Information Technology (IT) sector effective July 9.

He will report to James O'Neill, president, Northrop Grumman IT, and will be responsible for executing integrated technology plans across the sector to further enhance technical resources.

"Bob has been instrumental in introducing and applying new technologies that meet current and future customer demand," said O'Neill. "He has developed and implemented innovative strategies, business improvement and technology insertion. His track record clearly demonstrates outstanding contributions to Northrop Grumman."

Most recently, Brammer was director of technology at the IT sector's TASC business unit, where he was responsible for the strategic direction and management of TASC's research and development and other growth programs.

Brammer earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Michigan and master's and doctoral degrees in mathematics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
