Sempra Energy Executive Edwin Guiles to Speak at Credit Suisse First Boston Energy Summit Feb. 1


SAN DIEGO, Jan. 27, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Edwin A. Guiles, group president of Sempra Utilities, the operating group for the California utilities of Sempra Energy (NYSE:SRE), will provide a company update at the Credit Suisse First Boston Energy Summit Feb. 1, 2005, in Vail, Colo.

For the presentation, which is scheduled to begin at 12:10 p.m., EST, Guiles will provide an overview of the strategic plans of Southern California Gas Co. and San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), as well as an update on California's energy market.
